Kiewa Connections

12pm – 1pm

Join Helen on Mondays at 12 noon for Kiewa Connections, a community based program featuring guests from local groups and clubs in the Upper Kiewa Valley. Listen to the stories from volunteers about the benefits of being involved and be inspired to join in.

L'heure Francaise

Mary also has a regular chat with an Alpine Shire councillor following the monthly Council meeting. It’s your informative breakfast show to get you started for the middle of your working week.

All your mid morning entertainment needs are right here. The Brunch program, presented by Fay Mason, is a magazine style show to entertain you on your Wednesday morning.

Bright Alpine Leisure Group

12pm – 2pm

Helen Braidwood presents a Song Request program, provided by the Alpine Leisure Group in Bright. Every Wednesday tune in for a diverse range of music, including the latest hits, and many of your favourites.

RPH ‘Radio for those with a print disability'

2pm – 3pm

Radio for those with a print disability. Listen to a selection of volunteers reading from local and state papers.

The Pale Blue Dot

3pm – 5pm

Ian, Mary and Keith present The Pale Blue Dot, a program tackling all the renewable energy and environmental issues that are topical in today’s world. The program airs on Wednesdays with a live to air presentation and a recorded version on alternate weeks.

The Has Beens

5pm – 6pm

Join Ron Fensham, Kenny Gilmour and Richie Kreuzer as they lead you through an hour of banter, and light conversation. Talking local and national sport, and everything in between.

Rock’ N’ Blues

6pm – 12am

Rock ‘n’ Blues presents to you, an evening filled with Rock inspired by the Blues. From contemporary rock, to heavy rock and heavy metal, and everything inbetween, you will get to have your mid-week rock fix. Glenn Spencer hosted Rock ‘N’ Blues for 14 years – RIP Glenn, your music and musical knowledge was a gift.

Thursday Breakfast

6am – 9am

Start the day with Owen Stickels on Thursday mornings from 6:00am. Featuring Owen’s smooth style, the latest news and information, plus a lot of great music!..BYO tea.

Op Shop Hour

9am – 10am

Mary presents a program of mixed music and talk, highlighting what’s happening this week in our local op shops. There are two in Mount Beauty, run by a Hospital auxiliary and the Uniting Church, and one in Bright over two sites supporting hospital and health-related services in the Upper Ovens. Mary regularly interviews a volunteer from the Op Shops in our broadcast area, to encourage community members to donate their pre-loved goods, put their hand up to become a volunteer or simply come in and shop, as profits go to towards helping others in the community.

Classic Potpourri

10am – 11am

Mary presents the best of Classical music covering a wide range of musical periods and styles and frequently selects a theme for this presentation. Each month Mary invites a member of the listening public to join her in the studio to present the music they would take with them into some form of isolation. This is titled CASTAWAY CLASSICS and is based on the old ABC program, ‘Desert Island Discs’

My Generation Mix with Caitlin Frawley

11am – 1pm

Caitlin talks about her favourite songs from each generation and mentions musical facts about these songs. Relax and enjoy the show!
