A music show for the curious listener, The Seanie Sessions is built on one simple idea: good music is good music—no matter the genre or era.

Each week, Sean curates a themed playlist that blends familiar favourites with hidden gems, including lesser-known Australian artists you might not hear elsewhere. Along the way, he shares the stories behind the selections, adding context, insight, and the occasional surprise.

Expect an eclectic mix of music, with a touch of comedy, interviews, and special guests dropping in from time to time.

Sean McGinn

Originally from London, Sean has lived and worked around the world before settling in Australia over 20 years ago. He made the move from Melbourne to Bright five years ago, finding his spiritual home in North East Victoria.

By day, Sean is a structural engineer, best known for leading the engineering design of Optus Stadium in Perth. Outside of work, he embraces everything the region has to offer—cycling, skiing, hiking, great food and wine—and values most of all the strong sense of community.

On air, Sean brings that same curiosity and appreciation to music, sharing tracks and stories that connect people through sound.
