Alpine Radio’s Annual General Meeting was held on 25th September 2019, at 7.30pm in the Auditorium, Visitor Info Centre, Mount Beauty. 23 people attended, exceeding our official quorum of 17. Thank you to all who attended, and those who sent proxy forms (or apologies) because they could not attend.
Vice-President Hugh Paton delivered a joint Annual Report (attached) on behalf of himself and President Linda Parkinson (who was unable to attend because of work commitments). The photo above shows Hugh (standing) reading from the report, while Keith Pike (Treasurer) is on the left of the photo, and Nick Brown (Secretary) is in the centre. Keith Pike delivered the Financial Report, and Ron Fensham took over the chair to conduct voting for executive and committee positions.

The meeting agreed with the previous committee’s recommendation that membership fees for 2019/2020 remain unchanged from the previous year. Thank you to Leesa Bevan who conducted an audit of the station’s Financial Report, and was nominated to be auditor again.
