The Gather Festival outdoor broadcast was a huge success for Alpine Radio. Congratulations to our presenters and technical team for giving their time and adding to the festive atmosphere. Technical Officer & Sound Engineer, Ken Halse, worked long hours to set up for the event and pack everything up at the end. What’s more, he stayed all day to make sure the technical proceedings went smoothly.
A big thank you to special guest presenter Dylan, 17 years old and winner of the 2019 Comedy Cup.
Gather Festival was just the tonic needed in our region after the really tough summer here. The festival was made possible by a passionate collaborative team and the generosity of local businesses who still put their hands in their pockets, or donated their time after losing their peak tourist season.
This was a wonderful event to be involved with, and we look forward to being there in 2021 for the next Gather Festival.
