Alpine FM, your award winning community radio station and official emergency services broadcaster celebrated its 20th Birthday on 23rd August this year – that’s two whole decades of musical magic, chat shows, and so much more!
To celebrate this mega milestone, we’re inviting you to enter our Birthday Giveaway Bonanza. We’re celebrating in style, with a treasure trove of prizes that’ll simply make your head spin!
Three big prizes!
There’s something for everyone! You will have the chance to win one of three big prizes. How about a romantic 2 night getaway at an award winning BnB, OR maybe you could do with some gardening tools and accessories (AND a book written by Costa giving you all the tips you need). Or how about this! A giant basket of goodies valued at over $1,000. What’s in it? Well, you’ll just have to take a look below where we have listed all of the generous businesses in the Alpine Region who have donated these gifts to help us to celebrate this mega milestone. Without them and our loyal sponsors, members, presenters and volunteers, and our wonderful listeners, we could never have achieved what we have during our first 20 years on the airwaves. We have been very fortunate to have been recognised for our achievements in community radio a number of times including winning the CBAA national award for ‘Outstanding Small Radio Station’. This is because of all of you!
How to enter
So now it’s time for us to say a huge ‘THANK YOU’ to you and here’s to the next 20 years and beyond! All you have to do to enter is answer a few short questions, and we will give you a ticket into the draw.
Look out for our mobile broadcast van. We will be in Bright near the clocktower roundabout, on Thursday the 31st of August, between 11:30 am and 2 pm. Then we will be at the Mount Beauty Markets on Saturday the 2nd of September, all morning. We are also putting on a FREE sausage sizzle for you (with the assistance of the Upper Kiewa Valley Lions Club). Make sure you come and say hello, and most importantly, get your ticket into the draw.

We are having a special program, presented by Michael, at 4 pm on Saturday the 2nd. He will be drawing out the names of the lucky recipients of these amazing giveaways between 4 and 6 pm, so make sure you are listening in.
