The Committee of Alpine Radio is pleased to announce that your local community radio station is a finalist in the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) 2019 awards to be presented at the CBAA Conference in Melbourne on Saturday 26th October. Yes, Alpine Radio is a finalist in the category of Excellence in Technical Services, recognising the contribution made by our fantastic technicians over the years, Rob O’Connor, Dick Puttyfoot and Ken Halse. There are four stations nominated as finalists in this category so we will have some stiff competition, and it’s great to be involved in the awards finals once again. As you may know, we won the award as Outstanding Small Radio Station in Australia last year. Wish us luck!!
