Richard is a talented musician, fluent French speaker, and dedicated Alpine FM presenter. He co-hosts ‘Driving Me Crazy’ with Vivienne and also presents L’heure Francais, sharing his love of music and culture with listeners. A former committee member and skilled audio editor behind the scenes, Richard is a valued contributor both on and off the air. Beyond the station, he’s a familiar face in local arts and culture circles, actively involved in community groups that celebrate creativity and connection. A true man about town, Richard brings flair, insight, and a touch of charm to everything he does.
Viv Rochford
Vivienne is a long-time Alpine FM contributor and co-host of ‘Driving Me Crazy’ with Richard. A former Station Manager (2018–2019) and Sponsorship Manager until 2023, Viv is now back in the role short-term — and we’re thrilled to have her expertise once again. With a background in sales, marketing, and training, and a lifelong love of music inherited from her jazz musician father, Viv brings energy and insight to everything she does. She’s also known for her vibrant music selections and love of outside broadcasts, always aiming to connect with younger listeners.
